Instructional Program

PCVG offers a complete pathway for your pickleball journey, from novice to seasoned player. If you're new to the sport, click on, 'Intro to Pickleball' and we'll get you started on the right foot. Have some experience and have been rated at least a 3.0 or 3.5? Join us for our Clinic Series, designed to help elevate the intermediate player's game. Only players with a Villages ID may register. Guests may attend and play only if there is space.

You are not required to pay the $20 annual MyPBGames activity fee to attend the Instructional Program classes and clinics.  

Which Path is Right for You?

  • If you are new to pickleball:
    Start with the Intro to Pickleball Series.

  • If you have a 3.0+ rating:
    Go directly to the Clinic Series.

Intro to Pickleball Series (Start Here)

About the Intro Series
This series is designed for brand‑new players. Classes must be taken in order.

Signups open 7 days before each class at 8:00 PM.

If weather cancels a class, you must sign up again for a future session.
If you need to cancel, please do so 24 hours in advance.

1. Virtual Classroom

The Virtual Classroom sessions are held virtually and must be viewed in their entirety before attending Introduction to Pickleball. The videos include the following topics: Physical demands, Fitness requirements, Safety Procedures, Etiquette, Rules/Scoring, Equipment needs
